Is this stopping you doing what matters?

A new strain or sprain

Pain returning when training

Strength or confidence has dropped

Unsure how to return safely

You do not need to decide whether you need a physiotherapist, osteopath or chiropractor before booking. Start with the problem and the result you want.

How we help you return

1. Listen and assess

2. Treat and explain

3. Rebuild and progress

Injury story, symptoms, movement, strength and the activity you want to get back to.

Clear working clinical impression within Sports Therapy scope, hands-on treatment where appropriate and practical advice.

Graded strength, movement and loading plan with progress measured against your goals.

The Initial MSK Assessment is the right first booking for new Sports Therapy clients.

A plan built around your return

Your plan can include advice, graded movement, strength work, load management, activity modification and hands-on treatment where appropriate. Goals can include walking, work, gym, running or team sport.

When to seek medical help

Urgent help after major trauma, obvious deformity or a suspected fracture.

Inability to bear weight, severe swelling or loss of normal movement.

Loss of feeling, new weakness or problems with bladder or bowel control.

Any suspected head injury, loss of consciousness or confusion.

Call 999 or go to A&E for emergencies. Use NHS 111 when you are unsure.

Sports Therapy does not replace emergency or medical care.

A strain, sprain or overuse problem linked to movement, exercise or sport, whether you are new to activity or experienced.

Most people do not need a scan before an initial assessment. If your history or findings suggest medical review or imaging may be more appropriate, this will be explained clearly.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Shorts or a vest can help where appropriate, but the assessment can be adapted and consent and comfort come first.
