Sports therapy is a specialized field that focuses on the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. It encompasses a variety of techniques and practices aimed at improving athletic performance and ensuring a quick recovery from injuries.
Pre-Treatment Information
- Your session may include assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise prescription, or other modalities such as soft tissue therapy, dry needling, mobilisations, taping, or stretching, depending on your goals and needs.
- Treatment will always be discussed with you before beginning any treatment.
- You may be asked to undress to access the area being treated. Draping and modesty will be maintained at all times.
- Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or changes in your health before each session.
- All treatments are delivered in accordance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
- You have the right to stop or modify treatment at any time and ask questions throughout the session.
- Statera’s cancellation policy states that cancellations or failure to arrive may result in the session being charged.

Post-Treatment information
Some clients experience mild soreness or fatigue for up to 24–48 hours after treatment — that’s completely normal as your body adjusts and begins to respond to the work we did.
Here are a few quick reminders to help your recovery and get the most benefit from your session:
Hydrate well over the next 24 hours.
Move gently — light stretching or walking can help reduce post-treatment stiffness.
Rest and listen to your body; avoid intense training for a day if possible.
Apply heat or gentle mobility if you feel necessary.
