Statera Therapy – Booking and Cancellation Policy

Policy Statement


At Statera Therapy, we value your time and our commitment to providing high-quality, individualised care.
To ensure fairness and efficiency for all clients, we ask that you read and understand our booking and cancellation terms below.

 

1. Booking Appointments

  • Appointments can be made online, via phone, or directly with the therapist.

  • All new clients are required to complete a consent form before treatment begins.

  • Appointments are confirmed only once booking confirmation has been received (via email or message).

  • For packages, memberships, or prepaid sessions, bookings must be used within the validity period stated at the time of purchase.

 

2. Payment Terms

  • Gift vouchers and discount codes must be presented or entered at the time of booking.

  • All prices are subject to change; however, confirmed bookings and prepaid sessions will be honoured at the rate purchased.

 

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

We understand that sometimes plans change. To maintain fairness and availability for all clients, we operate the following policy:

- More than 24 hours notice - No charge

- Less than 24 hours notice or no-show - Full charge will apply 

 

In exceptional or emergency circumstances, fees may be waived at the discretion of Harrison Chan (Lead Therapist).


 

4. Late Arrivals

  • If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to ensure the next client is not delayed.

  • The full session fee will still apply.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the appointment may be marked as a no-show.
     

 

5. Therapist Cancellations

  • In the unlikely event that your therapist must cancel or reschedule, as much notice as possible will be given.

  • You will be offered the choice of a rescheduled appointment or a full refund for prepaid sessions.
     

 

6. Refunds

  • Refunds will only be issued in accordance with the above cancellation policy.

  • Prepaid sessions or packages are non-transferable and non-refundable, except in extenuating circumstances.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash but may be reassigned with approval.
     

 

7. Illness and Health Considerations

  • Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell, contagious, or have a recent injury that may contraindicate treatment.

  • Where illness prevents attendance, please notify Statera Therapy as soon as possible.

  • Rescheduling due to illness will be handled fairly and case-by-case.
     

 

8. Policy Review

This policy is reviewed annually to ensure fairness and alignment with best practice.
